Yes. InboxShield installs as a theme app embed, which means it works with every Shopify theme — including custom themes and Online Store 2.0 themes. No theme code editing is required.
InboxShield uses a rule-based scoring engine that checks each submission against multiple signals: URL presence, suspicious keywords, message length, disposable email domains, honeypot fields, and repeat submission patterns. Each factor adds to a spam score, and messages above your threshold are blocked.
InboxShield is designed to minimize false positives. You can adjust the strictness level (Low, Medium, or High) to find the right balance for your store. Premium users can also add trusted senders to a whitelist to ensure their messages always come through.
Once you've used your 50 protected messages for the month, new submissions will pass through without being filtered until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade to Premium at any time for unlimited protection.
No. InboxShield uses transparent, rule-based filtering. You can see exactly what rules triggered for each message in your dashboard — no AI black box.
InboxShield collects the sender's email, a message preview (max 100 characters), and IP address for spam scoring purposes. All data is automatically deleted after 90 days, and all data is deleted when you uninstall the app. We never sell data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
